The History of Estancia Group

The story of Estancia is the story of my family and comes full circle to my real estate career. My great-grandparents were homesteaders in the small town of Estancia, New Mexico. They were poor farmers with nothing to their names, but they had the chance to become property owners. The Homestead Act allowed people the chance to own 160 acres if they moved to that designated land, built a home on it, made improvements and farmed it for a minimum of five years. That's exactly what my family did to become property owners in Estancia, forever changing the lives of our family. Eventually with money made from that homestead farm, my grandfather was able to go to college and become a county judge. Today, I am a proud homeowner and my path was made easier because my great-grandparents worked so hard to achieve their dream of owning property. Now I want to help others achieve their real estate dreams and see what kind of future it could lead to for their families. I also can’t help but love that Estancia in Latin American Spanish translates to estate.
